This is a great little portable All-in-one player. It plays mp3s cds. Great for straight mixing songs.
These are the only cons:
-the scratching is horrible because once you let go of the turntable the music doesn’t start right where you stopped scratching. It has a pause and then the music continues.
-the headphone cue only plays one channel at a time. You can’t put the cue switch in the middle and hear both headphone cue channels at the same time. You’ll have to listen to the monitor speaker with one ear and mix on the headphone cue channel in the other ear. This is no fun when you are practicing in your bedroom without a speaker.
-there is no voice pitch key lock. So, you get the chipmunk effect when the pitch is raised and the deep voice when the pitch is lowered.
-You cant hook up Serato, Tractor, etc because the mixer is built in. If anyone knows how and I’m wrong about this. please let me know how to do so.
Other than that, it;s a great starter unit or backup player in case your good tables go down. And it’s super portable and hooks up in one minute.
