  1. We just got these for our 5 year old daughter. They look and feel great. I have read reviews that they slide off and are not snug, These fit snug, even on her tiny head, but they do slip alittle if she leans her head down far forward. I put them on and did a little gentle head bangin’ and they were fine. The adjust easily to fit larger heads. The reason I got these is because in a previous review, someone had said they were tight on their adult head, so I figured they would be great for a child. I paid $14.79 on Amazon. The sound is great. She has had them on for 30 minutes now, and no signs of any discomfort. I want a pair for me!!! I will not even tell her they fold up~some other reviews said where they fold, can snap easily. I also read the warrany info on the skullcandy.com website and they do have a decent policy. Very easy to register, takes 2 minutes on line.

  2. I got these just a few hours ago (may I add that it was delivered during the second epic blizzard in a week that slammed the East Coast of America) and so far I love them! The only thing is that, as I mentioned in the title, they tend to fall off if you bend down or duck your head. They fit my head fine, but aren’t very snug, so don’t try any radical movements. They don’t block out much sound and the sound quality is a tiny bit muffled and not so clear. HOWEVER, they get top marks for appearance and style. They are very close in color to the purple iPod nano I have, but not quite–my iPod looks bluer in comparison.

Still, I really love these things! I think you should strongly consider buying these!

IMPORTANT: Watch out for the durability! I’ve read a lot of reviews for the Lowrider headphones and the main reason that people give this product a low rating is because although it’s foldable, the top hinge apparently snaps very easily. I’ve folded them a few times to see what it was like and I was a little bit afraid because the top part of the headband seemed to be “warping” or twisting slightly when folded. That’s another reason why it’s a bad idea to move your head a lot in these…dropping them will decrease its lifespan. So be REALLY, REALLY careful when using these!

I also recommend filling out Skull Candy’s warranty form at their websites, just in case it breaks. That way, you don’t have to pay much–just a shipping fee–for a replacement if your pair breaks.

  3. I bought these for my son and he loves them. He uses them everyday and they’re holding up very well. He says the sound quality is great and more kids at school are now using them. I’m glad I chose these over the larger headphones. They’re less bulky and sound better. I’d purchase these again and will for my other son who borrows his brother’s when he gets the chance to.

  4. My 10-year-old daughter wanted these headphones for XMas and I could not find them at the Mall (she wanted the purple ones). She LOVES these. They are very comfortable and they sound quality is great. And the purple color is great!

  5. My 14 year old daughter received these headphones for Christmas. They sound great and she loves that they came in purple to match her ipod. She loves them, but admits they get a little uncomfortable after wearing for about 2 hours.
