I got these headphones for christmas and I’m not sure I like them all that much. They have good sound quality, but not the best. I like the colors because they’re really unique and kind of funky, but if for most people, it’s not a great look.
The fact that they come with a pocket for a bottle opener (bottle opener IS included) is… interesting. The downside to the nice metal bottle opener is that it gives the top of your headphones a square look, and even worse it quite quickly digs through the fabric and can create a hole
Also disappointingly the ear… cups??? (I don’t really know what they’re called, but I mean the things you put on your ears) aren’t as comfortable as they look. The padding isn’t very soft and they aren’t big enough, so after using them for a while your ears will hurt (and not from the volume which I’m also not impressed with)
Just to complain a little more, they’re a little tight, so if you wear them for a while, you’ll also get a headache.
Okay now what’s GOOD about them.
They do have an interesting look, and if you don’t like the green ear cups, they come with another pair, so you can have them be colored black.
One thing that’s really great about them is the price. They’re usually cheaper than other SkullCandy headphones because they’re bought less often, and SkullCandy is a much cheaper brand to buy headphones from that a brand like Bose.
The also come with a different type of headphone jack which I believe is the kind you can plug into instrument/amps for music practice.
I hope thats helpful ;D

I just received the headphones, listening to them as I type. Perfect, for the home studio and computer needs. Crystal clear sound, no problems. I fix machines and mix tunez for a hobby, and these are perfect. Nice price for a great pair of muffs. So for all the DJz, make the vinyl spin and continue to do whatcha like, and a pair of SKULLCANDY headphones fit, feel, and sound right.

These are pretty good earphones…but the bass is not as pwerful as people said…i have used the skullcrushers with built in amplifier. The quality is good and the durability is excellent. THis was my second choice for skullcandy products. I bought it b/c of the fantastic price

I recently purchased these headphones and was sorely dissapointed. I bought them because my previous pair of sonys had snapped and it was high time for an upgrade anyway, so i ordered a pair and waited the weak for them to arrive. When they got here i noted the vibrant appearence and creative packaging however once plugged into my ipod I was in for bitter disapointment. The sound quality was far subpar, mathing up unfavorably to my 10 dollar sony mdr-xd100s and even worse the left speaker buzzed uncontrollably, weak. I, after a couple days of use have since returned them and bough a pair of seinheiser hd 280 pros a huge upgrade, hopefully anybody who reads this review will steer clear of the woeful G.I.’s and get a pair of real headphones since these are bassicaly a 60 dollar piece of plastic jewelry
