I’m sure the headphones are great. I just never received them. It’s the seller who stinks. I was notified that my order shipped on Jan. 17. About 10 days after it supposedly shipped, I began to worry that something was wrong. My repeated emails to the seller for tracking number and information on the order went unanswered. That’s when the negative reviews started pouring into Amazon about this seller. ALL had the same experience and never received the product. I have just filed a claim with Amazon. I will never again order from any seller other than Amazon Direct. It’s unfortunate for the honest sellers.

I had always considered myself keen to good sound. I’m detail oriented, and someone who appreciates fine, meticulous subtitles that create a great product. With that being said, I always knew good sound from bad, but I never knew excellent sound from good. Until now.
I had previously owned a pair of Skullcandy GI headphones that I use at work. Music is an important factor in my work ethic, and I am not afraid to invest a decent amount for good sound. My Skullcandy headphones broke, so I ran out to Best Buy to immediately replace them. When I was there though, I saw the Beats by Dre sample booth and had to try them out. I was BLOWN away. I love my bass and subwoofer, and when I turned them on loud, and felt my head rock from the bass and subwoofer, I knew I had just experienced the best sounding headphones I’ve ever tried. I had tried out Bose headphones and countless number of Sony headphones, but at my $100-150 price range, I just couldn’t justify spending that amount.
When I tried these on, I knew there was going to be nothing that was going to stop me from purchasing them. I found out they were $300 – 5x more then I was looking to spend that day, but they were an investment I was willing to make. I hesitated for a second, but ended up walking away a happy man.
Note: Other factors in my purchase were that I own an iPhone which is compatible with these, a neat feature that pushed me over the edge. I am also a semi-professional poker player and these headphones are perfect for the table. There is some sound leakage though, so people can hear what I am listening to, but at the volume I listen at, any headphones would’ve done the same thing, and the fact that it leaks a little is comforting knowing that some sound is escaping and I’m not going to go deaf sooner then I assume I will. If you have the budget for this, I highly recommend them.

I saw 4 pairs of these at the Apple store, all 4 pairs had cracked plastic housing around where the screws are. I couldn’t believe all the display models were busted and quickly stopped my purchase.
I would suggest you try these at your local Apple store and see for yourself how many are broken.
