  1. If you’re older than 10 then your head will be to big and it will fit tight on your head.

    Hurts after two minutes.

    Bass quality sucks.

    Cords is about 9inches.

    Looks cool but sucks.

Even though you are reading this. you will buy it and will see that these headphones sucks.

  2. These skullcandy hesh headphones are great. They are a tight fit on your head and have a great sound to them. I recommend this product for people to purchase for their own personal uses. Listening to music with these headphones takes you away from the outside interferences. They are fashionable too, so pick yourself up a pair.

  3. I only owned these for about two months and they already broke. The plastic used for the extenders is extremely cheap and broke from normal use even though I was not rough at all with these. Also the cord is so short that it is useless, you have to use an extension or else it will not even reach a shirt pocket.

  4. I’ve had a pair of Hesh headphones for less than a year, and two days ago they cracked. The portion of the band that retracts inside the main band when you extend them simply cracked on one side, and you can see where it’s getting weak on the other side as well.

It’s a shame because I have found them to be extremely comfortable to wear, and to have great sound quality for a $50 pair of headphones. Of course they don’t have the sound quality of a $300+ pro-model style, but the lows resonate nicely, the highs are crisp, and I’ve always thought they sounded great. I’m really disappointed because they sound just as good, but don’t sit right now, as the right ear cup tries to bend out away from my ear when I try to wear them, diminishing the sound quality only because that side doesn’t hug my ear as it should.

All in all, they sound great, but I’m a stationary headphone user (sitting at home, working in the computer lab at school, etc.), so I can only assume they’d break more quickly under more strenuous use.

  5. Just bought a pair of these today, most of the reviews here are favorable, with a few that don’t like it. This led me to be a bit skeptical when considering these to replace some old crappy sonys that had just broken on me. However, the price isn’t too bad for the quality. With the headphones you get a nice bag, sticker, a stencil thing, and a headphone extension cable. The extension cable is pretty much necessary if you’re plugging them into anything more than a foot away, which kind of sucks. But this is probably a good thing because if you get hung up on something, your extension will likely pull out before it damages the headphones severely. The inline volume knob is cool and works fine as far as features go, and the paint job and things are cool. Some have mentioned the fit of them to be tight, but with a few seconds of adjusting they actually feel surprisingly light and comfortable. It almost feels like you’re not wearing over the ear ‘phones at all. Because of the secure fit and tight cupping of the ear, they also block out a significant amount of background or outside noise. Which is handy if you play games or listen to music in a not so silent environment. None of these things really matter with headphones though, what really matters is sound, and surprisingly these do a nice job. If you aren’t liking the sound, you probably aren’t adjusting your equalizer, and are just expecting them to work instantly with no tweaking. That said, these things will pump deep rich bass deep into your cranium with little effort, but also allow you to hear the small nuances of the higher ranges. I haven’t tested a lot of games or movies with them yet, but I have a bit, and they seem to do just fine. I’d recommend a pair of these to anybody who wanted to spend 50 bucks on some decent headphones. The issues people complain about are minimal and probably more about personal preference. I find that people that don’t like a product are much more likely to post a negative review and harp on every minor detail than someone who was pleased with it, used them without issue, and didn’t bother writing a review.
