Is it necessary to get an amp to hear the music from new my vinyl turntables?
I just bought turntables (Numark tt200) and i know i need a mixer but i was just wondering if i NEED an amp to hear sound if im just trying to hook up to my home theater speakers in my room. if so how much money should i plan to spend on an amp? im not doing gigs i just want to spin at my house for practice

No, the output from your mixer should go straight into your home speaker system.

You can’t go straight to the speakers. A mixer (unless it has a power amp built in) will only output a line-level signal.
If you have a receiver already connected to your home stereo speakers, then just plug into one of the inputs on that (like the Tape In, CD In, or similar). If it has a Phono Input, do not use that. That input is designed to take the output of a turntable directly, not a mixer output.
If you don’t have a receiver, then you will need a power amp. I can’t tell you how much, because I don’t know how loud you want to get or what the power handling capability of your speakers are.
