  1. So I got them to use for my ipod 30gig video not even a month and they popped . They sound like they are under water now cheap wont be buying any thing from skull candy any time soon.

  2. Bought Earphones as a present – purchased because of youngster’s wish for them. Personally, I would have prefered a better known, quality set.

  3. This pair of headphones was alright. I won’t really say it was all that great. I didn’t really like the fact that it was somewhat tight around my head and I have a small head too, my ears would hurt after a while but if I wear it around my neck it’s just huge and uncomfortable. Mines didn’t last for three month, it just broke.

Other then that the sounding of it is alright. If you ask me, I say to keep looking.

  4. The only reason I don’t give these headphones a 4 is because they are uncomfortable as sin out of the box, they have loosened up a lot now and are pretty comfortable for about an hour but they do begin to become annoying. Other then that they sounds great. Really powerfull bass that will seem muddy when you have your EQ set up for headphones with less bass but a quick adjustment will fix that. Oh yeah, and they get reaalllly loud! They do not have a 1/4th inch plug like it says in the description, insted the Home Stero Adapter is a 1/8th to 1?4th. It also does not include a travel bag as it says in the description and even on the box. THough this doesnt matter very much because they arent very portable.

  5. This pair of headphones is about on par with any 5-10 dollar set of ‘phones you can get from Wally world or the dollar store.

Other reviews stating that the sound quality is the best you can get, are sadly, sadly mistaken.

The ‘phones seem to have very loud reproduction between around 120hz and 8KHz, where it is very loud, squawky and overall sounds like GARBAGE.

Below that range or above that range, the output is practically non existent.

We conducted a side-by-side comparison of these headphones, a set of Microsoft Zune Premium earbuds, and an OLD Plantronics headset (Only still in use because it still works and has a boom mic as well as stereo headphones).

By FAR the Skullcandy Hesh headphones were the absolute worst headphones in the house.

The stock earbuds from my wife’s Creative Zen were better sounding!

Also, the cord that comes with the headphones is pathetically short at barely three and a half feet long. Don’t plan on using these as a permanent solution for your PC unless your PC is closer than that to your head or you are willing to buy an extension cable.

To summarize again, these headphones are quite possibly, the worst over-ear headphones I have ever used and shoppers should avoid them like the PLAGUE.

Get some Sennheiser HD 201′s or something, they’re cheaper and the sound is incomparable.
