I have been using MixMeister Fusion for years and have really come to enjoy the software even with a few minor problems. I was looking for the controller to enhance my DJ performance. Overall the concept is great and the buttons our laid out nicely. Unfortunately there are still some issues that need to be worked out with the Intro/Outro buttons as well as the LED lights (having to plug/unplug the controller).
Also it would be great to be able to have the “drop” buttons more responsive. Sometimes it seems as though there is a delay. I will still need to play with the controller a bit more to really put it to the test.
I do like how the volume control lights up when that track is active. Also it is very easy to assign an effect to the K-bank. It is certainly easier to make changes to the track with the knobs as opposed to using just the mouse. The controller does NOT replace the mouse, but it does provide for a much more tactile experience in which you are able to more quickly respond to modifying your playlist. Overall I would recommend the unit if you are a MixMeister fan, however if you are only casually interested I would say save your money.
