I do some amatuer Djing (if that's a word) here or there and this mixer has served me greatly. It charges and plays the iPod, while giving you control of levels (highs, mids, lows). Additionally it's a full service mixer complete w/ ground and inputs for CD players or turntables. It allows me to mix with two iPods so no need to carry crates of music. It's not a mixer for DJ to adjust the pitch. But it works fine for what i needed to do. So yes if you have more than one Ipod.
