I got the DH1200. I am not complaining…they are a bit duff compared to the DJ1200 (black) which I had. Oh well….

I’ve been using these headphones in a professional nightclub setting for 4 years, and I’m just buying my second pair now. What I’m trying to say is that these things are rugged, way more than many competitors which are known to religiously break at the hinges. I love one-ear (as opposed to over-ear) cans, and they’re loud enough to keep me connected in most settings. The only “malfunction” I’ve found is that the padding came off one of the ear cups, but that’s bound to happen after many years of abuse.
I’ve used them in non-DJing applications, too, and they’re comfortable on the head for extended periods of time.

I received these for Christmas. They’re great so far. The quality seems to be high end and the sound is great. The cable comes out on the right side as compared to others I have owned which came out on the left. You can wear them backwards with no noticeable difference except the cord is now on the left. This makes it easier to work at your desk, avoiding your mouse, depending on where the sound source is.
If I was going to give any criticism on these it would be that even though I do not have large ears they do not cover the ear 100%. They are comfortable but not as comfortable as my Bose noise canceling head phones. I would give them a 9 out of 10 on comfort.

I’m a electronic music dj so I need a really good pair of headphones. I’ve used pioneer hdp 1000 and sony mdvr 500 and 700. Both of them broke after a hard use on the dj cabin. These techincs are perfect, sound excelent, size perfect, loud enough, closed.
bye
