  1. I purchased this to replace a B&O Linear tracking turntable. The cartridges for that turntable cost $400.

The product came complete with cartridge and stylus. It was easy to set up. I have used it for about 20 hours and it sounds great with my system.

    I highly recommend this product.

  2. I only received this in the mail yesterday, but I need to let everyone know that the Cartridge/stylus/needle is included (the Numark website mentions this as well, so I’m not certain why the editorial review mentions that it is not included).

I scratched with this for a few minutes yesterday, and even without much setup time, it seems pretty accurate (I was even using the slipmat that came with it). Yes, I know the Technics decks are like butter but 1) the price is definitely and issue 2) think about the early ’80s and the magic those guys created from Sears decks. You know? Again, so far, this is a pretty terrific mid-level model for the semi-pro.

The sound is terrific, the platter is really smooth. People complain about the bent tone arm, but it seems to make a lot of sense if your busy hands are in there manipulating records.
