If the frequency range is important to you, DO NOT BUY THESE HEADPHONES.
If you’re looking to use them for something like Centerpointe’s Holosync cds, these will not work for you.
The advertised frequency range, when I bought these headphones, was 5-30,000 Hz. When the package arrived, the frequency range on the package reads 16-24,000 Hz.
Fortunately, I caught that before I opened the package, so Amazon was very good about the return, and even paid for the return postage, since it’s their website that’s wrong.

This headphone is unnatural sounding; very colored sound; not neutral sounding, bass is to heavy.
Headphone not comfortable.

My son bought these to replace a pair of Sonnheimer (sp.?) headphones. Great sound, nice bass/treble separation, excellent noise cancellation. A little larger design than most (the part that fits around the ears) but well worth it.

I bought these headphones with the intentions of using them with my Headroom Bitamp, but the amplifier overwhelmed my speakers. Now i have a pair of K81 Dj with no sound. and it took nearly 2 weeks for this incident to happen.
If you are going to use these headphones with out an amplifier then they are the best you can get for this price. amazing sound and punchy bass.
some people might of had other experiences, but mine wasn’t a good one with this product.

These cans’ sound is adequate. Not great, not really even remarkable. Just passable. Maybe they give you a little more bass than the standard iPod earbuds, but that’s about it.
On a more positive note, they do passively cancel noise, by as much as 80%, I’d say. Jet-engine roar dropped to a drone, for example. And as far as I can tell, they don’t leak at all.
Incidentally, if you wear a 7 3/8 ball cap, these ought to fit you pretty comfortably. Somewhat less so if you’re wearing glasses.
Another bad thing: Yeah, they’re foldable, but they’re still bulky. And they don’t slide all that easily into their little drawstring travel bag. Still, the bag isn’t a bad touch, reducing as it does the unwieldiness of these headphones by at least 50%.
All in all, I’d imagine you could do better for $60.
